Useful video to watch for Year 11 in preparation for their exam. Revision for Year 10.
Enjoying a lack of work at the moment and the thought of not getting up early tomorrow, though I have a new phone coming.
Spent some time this evening updating Radical Geography, including some My Place resources.
Added various bits, old favourites and new to Radical Geography tonight.
Began to upload some Pilot resources related to the My Place unit. I’ve also added some resources on farming, which seems to be popular at the moment, some old favourites here. Also added some work on global food consumption, I’m randomly putting together a unit looking at issues through food and water. Also began to upload some retail resources, more to come…
and congratulations Year 11 on completing your coursework.
The Geographical Community would be grateful if Key Stage 3 students would take part in this research. Should take you five minutes.

Nice contributions today, you should now understand the advantages and disadvantages of shopping out of town and on the High Street. It was my aim to look at then the impacts of out of town shopping on the urban-rural fringe and the C.B.D., but we ran out of time due to our discussions. Please read this earlier post on the doughnut effect in preparation for the next lesson. (more…)
Supposedly – a blast from the past.
Not had a particularly pleasant day, though no-one caught me out. Your shoelace is undone isn’t original.
I watched a good form assembly by a colleague this morning about April Fools’, including the famous Panorama crank. Thanks Alan for this.
